New Training Times 20th June
Please see new training times on Sidebar. Starting at Lifeguards Hut in Tramore, weather permitting. All members are asked to be ready in their gear to help with setting up course and equipment, before training times start.

 

International Referee Status for WSLSC
Two members of WSLSC, Daniel Wrafter and Shane Molloy have just qualified as full International Pool and Surf ILSE approved Referees after passing their written exam, which was held in Dublin and Spanish Point, Co. Clare on the 26th and 27th of April

LOCAL AREA COMMITTEE MEETING AGM
The Annual General Meeting of Irish Water Safety Waterford took place at the Ramada Hotel, Waterford on Wednesday night (19th of March 2008).  Thanks to all the WSLSC members that turned up to this event to show there continued support to the Club.  Shane and James were nominated to represent the club at all forthcoming Local Area Committee meetings throughout the year. If there are any issues which you would like to be raised at any of these meetings please contact either of the two clubs representatives; Shane or James.

WATERFORD SLSC LADIES WIN NATIONAL SURF LIFE SAVING COMPETITION
Wslsc Ladies Team won the National Surf Life Saving Championships held on Kilkee Beach Co. Clare September 2007. The Winning Team consisted of Catherine Brown, Shauna Carey, Grace Doyle, Emma Griffin, Roseanne Kennedy and Dawn Sinnot .  Waterford Ladies put in a tremendous performance against their nearest rivals the home team- Care   to ensure they came out on top of the 1 point score difference.   So A big congratulation to all our ladies!!! (see trophy)
